We explained in previous videos that cancer starts when a group of cells in the body start growing and dividing out of control. We also explained that this can occur at any part of the body and spread to other parts as well when it is cancerous. Therefore, cancer is named after the part of the body where it first started, even when it spreads to other parts later on.

So, if cancer starts in the ovaries, then it is called ovarian cancer, which is our topic for this article.
