What are Hearing Aids?
Hearing aids are small electronic devices that are made to be worn in or behind your ear. These devices can amplify the sound, so a person who suffers from hearing loss could live a normal life, including normal communication and daily activities.The hearing aids could be really useful, as they can make the sound louder in both quiet and nosy environments.
All hearing aids are composed of three elements:
- The microphone – its purpose is to catch the sound waves and to transform them into electrical signals;
- The amplifier – it is used to boost the intensity of the electrical signals;
- The speaker – receives the amplified electrical signal and sends it to the brain.
