Dr. Hakkou Karima

Dr. Hakkou Karima is a General Surgeon who is practicing general surgery in her private clinic. She is also working at the CloudHospital Inc. as an In-house Doctor. She has been performing as a General Surgeon since 2013 and has amassed experience of 8 years in this field. She has also worked in other healthcare organizations from 1999 to 2018. Dr. Hakkou Karima is fluent in Arabic, French, and English. She also loves to travel, read books and listen to music. Dr. Hakkou Karima did her Bachelors in Experimental Sciences from Lycée Ibnou Sinae, Marrakech in 1998. She started pursuing a Doctorate in General Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Casablanca, in 1998 and completed it in 2005. She then did a Residency in General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Casablanca, from 2007 to 2012. After completing her Bachelor's degree, Dr. Hakkou Karima learned the techniques of anatomopathological preparations at the Zohor Laboratory, Marrakech, for a month. Then in 2000, she joined the CHU Averroès, Casablanca, for different surgical medical disciplines and continued until 2004. Later, she entered the Hospital Ibn Zohr, Marrakech as an intern for 11 months. In 2006, Dr. Hakkou Karima started her private practice in Marrakech as a replacement for General Practitioners. She joined the CHU Mohamed VI Marrakech in 2007 for a Residency in Visceral Surgery and left in 2013. After leaving the CHU, she started working as a Permanent Visceralist Surgeon in the public health sector in 2013 and continued working till 2017. Then in 2018, Dr. Hakkou Karima opened her private clinic under the name of 'Dr. Hakkou Karima General Surgery Practice' in Marrakech and is still working there. She wrote her graduation thesis for the Doctorate on 'Medicines and Vigilance' starting from 1st December 2004 to 5th July 2005. She has also worked on a published scientific article named 'Foreign Body of the Rectum: An Unusual Case.' Dr. Hakkou Karima has also been a part of various associative activities like being the President of the MADOS Association for two years, the Vice-Treasurer of the ASDFS Association. She has also been a member of the Scientific Committee of the ALMOQUIM Association of Resident Doctors of Marrakech for four years.
