Dr. Ahmet Akyol is a veteran Heart Specialist of Turkey with 25 years of experience performing interventional cardiology procedures. He currently practices at Acibadem Maslak Hospital, Istanbul, and treats Coronary artery disease, Atherosclerosis, Blocked arteries, Angina, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Bradycardia, Tachycardia, and similar cardiac conditions. Interventional procedures such as Angioplasty, EPS & RFA, Angiography, Stent placement, Atherectomy, and Pacemaker implantation Surgery are required to resolve structural heart conditions. Dr. Ahmet Akyol performs these procedures using advanced technology and top-class equipment and follows up with his patients with the best procedural care. After graduating from Marmara University School of Medicine in 1993, he obtained his specialization training in Cardiology from Siyami Ersek Chest Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital. He also started practicing at the same Hospital. In 2001, Dr. Ahmet Akyol became the Assistant Chief of Cardiology in Siyami Ersek Hospital and worked till 2009 in the same position. Since 2009, he has worked with Acibadem Maslak Hospital and utilizes his rich experience and diverse knowledge to treat his patients. Besides his successful clinical practice, Dr. Ahmet Akyol is also an essential part of various national and international associations related to Cardiology. He is a member of the TKD Interventional Cardiology Working Group, TKD Cardiac Imaging Working Group, TKD Arrhythmia, Pacemaker and electrophysiology working group, European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), Turkish Cardiology Association, European Cardiology Association, and TKD Heart Failure Working Group.
