Associate Professor Dr. Ahmet Bulent Kargi is a Surgical Oncologist at the VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital with experience of over 20 years. He specializes in esophagoscopy, lung volume reduction surgery (COPD), and various types of cancer. Most of his popularity comes from his Lung Cancer Treatment. He is fluent in the English Language along with his native language, Turkish. Dr. Ahmet Bulent Kargi is a professional member of the Turkish Thoracic Surgery Society, the International Association of Health Education Antalya, and Turkey Green Crescent Society. He graduated with his MD from Akdeniz University in 1992. In 1999, he completed his Thoracic Surgery Training from Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center. He has about 9 Diplomas and Certificates, and one of those is from when he attended the 10th European Conference on General Thoracic Surgery held in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Ahmet Bulent Kargi joined the Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 2000 and worked there till 2006. Then in 2009, he joined the Medical Park Antalya Hospital and continued working there till 2018. He has worked in the Academic Medical field; he delivered lectures at Altinbas University from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, Dr. Ahmet received the title of Associate Professor and then joined the VM Medical Park Pendik and Gebze Hospitals. As a practicing doctor, he has also worked as a faculty member at the Istinye University, a Visiting Professor at the Bahcesehir University. Recently, in January 2021, he joined Istanbul Okan University.
