Dr. Amir Sonnenblick is an expert Oncologist of Israel. He is highly trained in diagnosing and providing breast cancer treatment and is currently associated with Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. He acquired his MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel. After that, he started his Ph.D. from the same institute and completed his studies in 2007. In 2008, Dr. Amir Sonnenblick started his Residency in the Oncology Department at Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, and continued working there until 2012. He also rendered his services as Medical Advisor for the Breast European Adjuvant Studies Team and the Breast International Group. Dr. Amir Sonnenblick did multiple Fellowships to advance his knowledge in treating cancers. In 2012, he went to the US to attend a Fellowship in Breast Cancer Research, an International Program at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA. After that, in 2013, he started ESMO Breast Cancer Translational and Clinical Research Fellowship at Jules Bordet Institute, which ended in 2015. He worked at reputed hospitals during his professional career and held prominent positions. From 2013 to 2018, he practiced as a Senior Physician of Oncology Department at Hadassah Medical Center. He has been an integral part of The Oncology Division at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Telaviv, and Heads the Breast Cancer Unit there. Dr. Amir Sonnenblick is an active member of numerous international and national unions and associations. He holds the membership of the Israeli Medical Association, Israeli Society for Cancer Research, Israeli Society of Clinical Oncology, European Association of Cancer Research (ESCR), and the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). He has received multiple awards for his noteworthy clinical and research work and has presented more than 30 presentations in national and international scientific meetings.
