Dr. Amit Ghanekar is a renowned medical oncologist at Fortis Hospital, Kalyan, and has more than 10 years’ experience in his profession. Dr. Amit Ghanekar completed his MBBS at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, Mumbai, 2000, and several years later, he did his MD in general medicine at B J Medical College Pune, 2005. After having several years of experience with professional experts, he gained his DNB in medical oncology at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, 2013. During his education, he trained treatment of various blood disorders like thrombocytopenia, polycythemia, Leukaemoid reaction, myelodysplastic syndromes, refractory anemia, myeloproliferative disorders, aplastic anemia, and has done more than 5000 related procedures. Dr. Amit Ghanekar has been a part of multiple successful bone marrow and stem cell transplantations for myeloma, lymphoma, leukemia, thalassemia, and rare/immune disorders.
