Dr. Amol Ghalme is one of the best aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgeons at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and has rich experience in his profession. His medical interest is breast reconstruction & cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring, gynecomastia, reconstructive microvascular surgery, onco-reconstruction. He has successfully performed more than 200 onco-reconstruction surgeries during this period with a success rate of 98%, at par with international standards. Dr. Amol completed his MBBS at B. J. Medical College, Pune, and gained his MS at the same Medical College, where he began his medical career. Moreover, he obtained his M.Ch. in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Grant Medical College and J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He also had Homi Bhabha National Institute Fellowship in Reconstructive Microvascular Surgery, Tata Memorial Center, Mumbai. Furthermore, he is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), a Member of the Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ISRM), a Member of the Indian Society for Surgery of Hand (ISSH), and Member of the Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (AAPS).
