Dr. Anand Prakash is a leading general surgeon at Medanta Hospital who has rich experience in this field. He has performed more than 4000 advanced laparoscopic GI surgeries and has done several pioneering surgeries includes repair of spontaneous gastro-bronchial fistula in the case of Henoch Schlein Purpura, solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of pancreas in a patient of Situs Inversus Totalis, biliary heavy metal concentration in carcinoma of the gallbladder and biliary nitrates and risk of carcinoma of the gallbladder. Dr. Prakash completed MBBS followed by his MS (Surgery) from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Thereafter, he completed DNB (Surgery) and FNB (Minimal Access Surgery) from the National Board of Examinations, NAMS, New Delhi, 2005. Post completing DNB (Surgery). Dr. Prakash has done a fellowship from the American College of Surgeons in 2006 and Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. He underwent post-doctoral training in surgical gastroenterology at SGPGIMS Lucknow, and later, he joined the Department as Faculty. During his career, he held prestigious positions at hospitals and centers and gained valuable experience. In addition to his work, he presented many papers at several international and national conferences and published several scientific articles related to his profession.
