Dr. Ayla Oktay is a well-known Turkish-born Pediatric Cardiologist. She received her medical degree from Gazi University's Faculty of Medicine, and then she pursued Pediatric Cardiology-Specialization at Baskent University Faculty of Medicine after graduating. After finishing her Pediatric Cardiology-Specialization, Dr. Ayla Oktay obtained her Child Health and Diseases-Specialization from Kirikkale University Faculty of Medicine. She commenced her professional career in 2002 as a Research Assistant at Kirikkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. She then worked as a Pediatrics Specialist at Gumshane State Hospital for a year. She worked from 2009 till 2013 as a Pediatric Cardiology Minor Research Assistant at the Baskent University Faculty of Medicine. She began working as a Pediatric Cardiology Specialist at Ahi Evren Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 2013, and she is currently a part of Acibadem Bakirkoy Hospital. Her special interests are Congenital Heart Diseases. Dr. Ayla Oktay has extensive knowledge in various domains spanning two decades. She fulfills numerous duties as an experienced pediatric cardiologist, such as analyzing medical history and bringing to the patient's understanding guidelines for a healthy lifestyle and heart disease preventive measures. She also does physical examinations on patients, checking the health of their hearts, lungs, blood vessels, blood pressure, vital signs, and weight.
