An obstetrics and gynecology specialist, Dr. Azza Gouda Ibrahim completed her MBBCh from Zagazig University in Egypt. She has also been certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (MRCOG), UK. Dr. Ibrahim completed a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery, a Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic & Operative Hysteroscopic Surgery, and a Diploma in Gynecological Endoscopy, accredited by the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology of India (FOGSI). She has undergone training in ultrasound from the Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute in Philadelphia, USA. Dr. Ibrahim has worked at the Al Wasl Hospital, a Joint Commission international accredited hospital. She has been coordinator and supervisor of OBY/GYN Dubai Residency Training program. She has worked at My Own Maternity Home, Female Surgical Hospital and Kuwait Red Crescent Hospital in Pakistan. She has been a faculty at the Dubai Medical College. She has also worked at Al Ghandoor Private Hospital in Egypt. Dr. Azza Gouda Ibrahim is a member, Arab Board Specialization (CABOG), the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (MRCOG), World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS) and Emirates Medical Association. Dr. Ibrahim has tremendous expertise and experience in performing a number of procedures by laparoscopy. These include total laparoscopic hysterectomy with endosuturing, myomectomy with endosuturing, ovarian cystectomy, oophorectomy, excision of complicated tubo-ovarian masses, pelvic adhesiolysis, and salpingectomy/salpingostomy for ectopic pregnancies. She performs advanced hysteroscopic procedures. She provides guidance on infertility management including assisted reproductive treatments, prenatal screening, management of stress incontinence recurrent miscarriages, high risk pregnancy management, gynecological endocrine disorders, genetic counselling and diagnostic procedures. Dr. Ibrahim is an expert at operative gynecology including utero vaginal prolapse and pelvic floor repairs. She performs obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound and colposcopy. Dr. Ibrahim is fond of reading, and speaks Arabic and English.
