Dr. Belma Bayratkar is a consultant dermatologist whose expertise includes effective management of acne and pigmentation complaints of skin. Common dermatological diseases like allergic eczema, psoriasis, shingles, Bachet’s Disease are also being managed by her with immaculate skill and empathy. She also carries out aesthetic and cosmetic dermatological procedures like laser hair removal, laser spot treatment, chemical peels, and blue light therapy. She is currently working as a consultant cosmetic and aesthetic dermatologist at the Acibadem Bakirkoy Hospital. Dr. Belma Bayratkar graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ege University, with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery in 1983. She continued to train at the Skin and Venereal Diseases, Faculty of Medicine at the Ege University. After completing her specialization in 1989, she began serving at the Kayseri State Hospital, where she worked till 1995. She then joined Besiktas Sait Ciftci Public Health Center, where she served till 2006. Dr. Belma Bayratkar has also served at the German Hospital till 2009, after which she joined Acibadem Healthcare Group. Alongside her years of service in the field of dermatology, Dr. Belma Bayratkar is an avid member of the Turkish Society of Cosmetic Scientists, Turkish Dermatology Association, and Skin and Venereal Diseases Association. Moreover, she is serving as a member of the Turkish Mesotherapy Association and Cosmetic Dermatology Academy Association. Dr. Belma Bayratkar is also an active member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber. Moreover, she has published several national and international papers discussing management protocols and disease presentations.
