Endocrinologists are medical experts in the diagnosis and treatment of hormone-related problems. As a result, endocrinologists play a critical role in improving the health of such patients. Dr. Chulwoo Ahn is an Endocrinologist based in South Korea. He started his medical education with graduation from the reputed institute of Yonsei University in 1991, followed by his MS and MD from the same institute in 1998 and 2002, respectively. Dr. Chulwoo Ahn is highly appreciated for his deep knowledge about the specialization, and therefore, he has authored multiple research articles in national and international journals regarding the endocrinology domain. Furthermore, he also actively participates in conferences, seminars, and workshops and shares his valuable experience with learners. His areas of clinical interest are treating Diabetes, Hormonal imbalance, Minimally invasive parathyroidectomy (MIP), Masculinizing hormone therapy, etc. Additionally, following the treatment of the diseases, many patients commented positively on his close attention to his patients during the follow-up process. Dr. Chulwoo Ahn has been associated with many hospitals over the course of his illustrious and experienced career, including Yonsei University College of Medicine and Northwestern University, USA. Currently, he has been serving as the Head of Endocrinology Department, Department of Internal Medicine, Gangnam Severance Hospital, Seoul, South Korea, since 2011.
