    Professor Dr. Faruk Ciftci is a Chest Disease Specialist at the VM Medical Park Hospital in Pendik, Istanbul. He began his professional medical career in 1989 and had more than 30 years of experience in the medical field. He specializes in Mediastinal Tumors and various other Chest Diseases. Professor Dr. Faruk Ciftci completed his Medical Education from the Ankara GATA Faculty of Military Medicine in 1989. Later on, he joined the Ankara GATA’s Department of Chest Diseases for a Specialization in Medicine and completed it in 1996. In 2006, he got an Associate Professorship at the Istanbul GATA Haydarpasa Training Hospital and earned his Professorship in 2013. Professor Dr. Faruk Ciftci began his professional medical career as an Intern Medical Examiner at the Ankara GATA in 1989 and continued his internship till 1990. He joined the Erzurum Dumlu 51’s Infantry Division as a Continental Medical Examiner in 1990 and worked there until 1992. He joined the Department of Chest Diseases at the Ankara GATA as a Specialty Student in 1992 for four years. In 1996, Professor Dr. Faruk Ciftci got to work for the Istanbul Camlica Asker Hospital as a Specialist and worked with them till 2004. He became an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and finally a Professor at the Istanbul GATA Haydarpasa Training Hospital from 2004 to 2016. Dr. Faruk also has experience working part-time from 1997 to 2002 at the Istanbul Jogging Road Esma Hatun and Medipol Hospitals and from 2009 to 2010 at the Istanbul Camlica German Hospital. He joined the Istanbul Dogan Hospital in 2017, the Medical Park Gebze Hospital in 2018, and the VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital in 2019.
