Dr. Fatih Aydogan is a highly skilled Surgical Oncologist who primarily focuses on Breast diseases and their surgery. He currently practices at Memorial Bahcelievler Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey. He holds the European Breast Surgery Competence Certificate and is the first Physician-Scientist to be awarded by the American Association of Breast Surgeons. Dr. Fatih Aydogan is a graduate of Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine. He received his specialization training in General Surgery from Cerrahpasa School of Medicine between 2000-2005 and continued working there as a faculty member and Breast Surgeon till 2016. Moreover, he also worked as a visiting surgeon, researcher, and observer at Memorial Sloan Cancer Center, New York, Cornell University Presbyterian Hospital, New York, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, European Institute of Oncology, Milan, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston between 2002 to 2011. During his 15 years of successful clinical practice, Dr. Fatih Aydogan worked at different national and international health care centers and gained immense experience and recognition. Between 2013 and 2015, he also went to Harvard Medical School's Dana Farber and Brigham Women's Cancer Center and researched as a Primary researcher on Breast Cancer. Later, he also won the Merit Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology Breast Conference held in San Francisco. Dr. Fatih Aydogan has been a part of more than 200 scientific studies and has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in well-known journals. He is an author of books and has contributed more than 15 book chapters. He also holds the credit of inventing advanced surgical techniques in breast surgery (called A-ROLL, IFOLL) with his team in the Cerrahpasa Breast Group, which got great attention from reputed journals internationally. To honor his research work and innovative surgical technique, he was awarded the Diploma of Surgical Oncology Specialization by the Ministry of Health.
