Dr. Gokhan Aksakal began his career at the Karabuk State Hospital, Turkey, in 1995 as a General Practitioner and remained there till 1997. He joined the Karabuk Health Quarry No. 1 in 1997 as a General Practitioner and worked there for a year. After that, he joined the Vatan Hospital, the Karabuk State Hospital, the Van Military Hospital, and the Sinevler State Hospital. In 2011, Dr. Gokhan Aksakal joined the Karabuk University Education and Research hospital as an Internal Medicine Specialist and Gastroenterologist and continued working there till 2018. He joined the Cha Bundang Hospital in Seoul, Korea, for a one-year Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
