Dr. Gokhan Aksakal is a Specialist Doctor in Internal Medicine and a Gastroenterologist at the Memorial Antalya Hospital in Antalya, Turkey. He has more than 25 years of experience in the medical field. He has received certifications like the SB Workplace Medicine Certificate, Experimental Animals Use Certificate (SDU), and Dialysis Certificate (Baskent University). Dr. Gokhan Aksakal has numerous published medical articles in various journals. He is a member of the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, Turkish Endoscopy Association, Turkish Liver Research Association, Association of Inflammatory Intestinal Diseases, and Turkish Medical Association. Dr. Gokhan Aksakal graduated with an MD from the Republic University in Sivas, Turkey, in 1995. In 1998, he began his Specialty Training in Internal Medicine from Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta, Turkey, and completed it in 2003. He began his Specialty Training in Gastroenterology from the Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta, Turkey, in 2008 and completed it in 2011. Dr. Gokhan Aksakal began his career at the Karabuk State Hospital, Turkey, in 1995 as a General Practitioner and remained there till 1997. He joined the Karabuk Health Quarry No. 1 in 1997 as a General Practitioner and worked there for a year. After that, he joined the Vatan Hospital, the Karabuk State Hospital, the Van Military Hospital, and the Sinevler State Hospital. In 2011, Dr. Gokhan Aksakal joined the Karabuk University Education and Research hospital as an Internal Medicine Specialist and Gastroenterologist and continued working there till 2018. He joined the Cha Bundang Hospital in Seoul, Korea, for a one-year Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. He then returned to Turkey to join the Memorial Antalya Hospital as an Internal Medicine Specialist and Gastroenterologist.
