Dr. Gunay Gezer is an Ophthalmologist at Medicana Haznedar Hospital. She graduated from the Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2012. After graduation, she worked at the TR Ministry of Health Kocaeli Izmit Seka State Hospital in the medical department for one year. She then completed her residency in Ophthalmology from Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2019. After specialization, she joined the TR Ministry of Health, Patnos State Hospital as a Specialist from 2019 to 2021. Dr. Gunay Gezer is an excellent Ophthalmologist with various areas of medical interest. Some of her clinic interests include Oculoplasty, Medical Retinal problems, and Glaucoma. She is an experienced eye surgeon who regularly performs Cataract Surgery, Pterygium Surgery, and Eyelid Surgery such as Blepharoplasty, Entropion / Ectropion Surgery, Trichiasis / Distichiasis. She has a particular clinical interest in Glaucoma and Oculoplastic Surgery. She has performed multiple surgeries to date and has a large patient panel. Dr. Gunay Gezer has published various scientific articles, including The Effect of Dry Eye Presence, Planned for Cataract Surgery, on Keratometric Values and IOL Measurement in 2016. She presented a poster at 51st TOD National Congress in 2017 on the Evaluation of Visual Functions and Macular Morphology in Eyes with Pars Plana Vitrectomy Due to Epiretinal Membrane. Dr. Gunay Gezer is also a member of various medical associations, including the Turkish Ophthalmological Association. She also regularly takes part in continuing medical education conferences and seminars. In addition, she has also spoken at multiple ophthalmological seminars.
