Dr. Gursel Remzi Soybir is a world-renowned general surgeon in Turkey. He has over 25 years of experience dealing with breast disease and endocrine disorders. He received his medical degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, after which he completed his general surgery specialization training in 1994 from the same university. Dr. Gursel Remzi Soybir worked at SB Sivriler Health Center in Zonguldak, Turkey for a year (1987-1988). He then served at SB Vehicle Health Center for another year (1988-1989) before becoming the chief assistant of the surgery clinic at SB Taksim Hospital in 1989. He maintained this position for about nine years (till 1998). After leaving SB Taksim Hospital, Dr. Gursel Remzi Soybir served at the SB Haseki Hospital as the second surgery clinic assistant for twelve years (1998-2010). He then acquired the position of general surgery specialist for breast and thyroid surgery at Memorial Sisli Hospital for five years (2005-2010). From 2014 to 2020, he had been associated with Memorial Etiler Medical Center. However, since 2020, Dr. Gursel Remzi Soybir has been serving at the Memorial Service Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. He has published several articles in many scientific publications worldwide and written a book.
