If you have any symptoms of endometrial or cervical cancer such as abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge, difficult or painful urination, bleeding after menopause, weakness, and pain in the lower abdomen, back, or legs, you must make an immediate appointment with Dr. Hanbyuol Cho. He'll inquire about your symptoms as well as your medical history. After that, he'll do a pelvic exam to check for abnormalities in your uterus and other reproductive organs. He may request a transvaginal ultrasound exam to look for malignancies or other abnormalities. It's a type of imaging exam that creates pictures of the inside of your body using sound waves. If you have endometrial cancer, Dr. Hanbyoul Cho will probably request more tests to see if it has spread. He might prescribe blood tests, x-rays, or other imaging procedures. Endometrial cancer can be treated using a variety of methods. The treatment approach chosen by Dr. Hanbyoul Cho will be based on cancer's subtype and stage, as well as the patient's overall health and personal preferences. Each treatment option has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Dr. Hanbyoul Cho helps his patients understand the benefits and risks of each option.
