Dr. Hemanth is an active member of the Malaysian Urological Association, Urological Association of Asia (UAA), Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU) and a Board member of the Training and Credentialing committee of the Malaysian Board of Urology. He has well over 18 years of experience in the field of Surgery and subspecializing in Urology. Dr. Hemanth has completed multiple International Urology fellowships and worked with acclaimed Professors from around the globe. Some of these fellowships include Uro-Oncology in South Australia, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Tubingen Germany and Laser TURP in South Korea. As the former director of Urology services for Penang Hospital he has a vast experience in managing and performing complex surgery for Urology cases. Besides clinical work he is a board member of the Training and Credentialing committee of the Malaysian Board of Urology since 2012. His areas of special interest include Urolithiasis (Kidney Stones), Uro-Oncology, Prostate Diseases, Laparoscopic Urological Surgery, Laser Surgery in Urology, Male Sexual Health, Fertility and Pediatric Urology.
