Hyoung Jin Kang

Dr. Hyoung Jin Kang is an esteemed pediatric haemato-oncologist with decades of clinical practice associated with his name. Dedicating his life to fight against childhood malignancies, Dr. Hyoung Jin Kang has passionately helped numerous children and their parents deal with their diagnoses. He is currently offering his services at the renowned Seoul National University Hospital at the Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
 
Dr. Hyoung Jin Kang specializes in managing blood diseases, childhood and adolescent cancers, and leukemias. He is well versed in tackling these complaints with chemotherapy, cell and gene therapy, alongside Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplantation and Hematopoietic stem cell transplantations.   

Dr. Hyoung Jin Kang received his early medical education from the prestigious Seoul National University College of Medicine. He then pursued an M.S and a Ph.D. degree to polish his academic credentials further. He was later offered a residency and a fellowship program at the Department of Pediatrics in the Seoul National University Hospital. 

Dr. Hyoung Jin Kang also demonstrates a passionate research interest that is apparent through several of his publications. His research work is solely dedicated to developing appropriate treatment modalities to help manage various cancers presenting early. He has also offered his research services at the Pediatric Oncology Branch, National Cancer Center, in 2003. His keen interest also took him abroad to the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy, Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital, to pursue a Postdoc fellowship.
