Dr. Hyung Dong Kim is an honorary director in the neurosurgery department. Dr. Hyung Dong Kimon is also connected to the Cognitive Disability and Dementia Center and the Brain Nerve Center. Dr. Hyung Dong Kim is an expert in the fields of brain tumors, spinal cord tumors, pituitary tumor surgery, meningioma surgery, cerebrovascular disease, cerebral aneurysm surgery, spinal disc specialized treatment, and headache. Dr. Hyung Dong Kim graduated from Pusan National University College of Medicine and became a medical doctor at Pusan National University School of Medicine. Dr. Hyung Dong Kim was a full-time physician and graduate research student at Nippon Daipan City University Hospital and also finished his M.D. at Korea University School of Medicine. Dr. Hyung Dong Kim was a former Professor Emeritus at Dong-A University College of Medicine (2014), a Consultant to the National Pension Service (2010), a Family Health Counselor at Busan Court, and a full-time lecturer, assistant professor, and associate professor of neurosurgery at Busanbaek Hospital, Inje University. Dr. Hyung Dong Kim has also served as the first chief professor of neurosurgery at Dong-A University College of Medicine, Vice Dean (Academic Affairs Officer) of Dong-A University College of Medicine (1990), Chief of Neurosurgery at Dong-A University Hospital (1990–2002), and Director of Training Education Department, Medical Department, and Planning and Coordination Office Director of Dong-A University Hospital (1990–2002). Dr. Hyung Dong Kim was a research and clinical fellow at the Department of Neurosurgery, Osaka City University Hospital, Osaka, Japan. Dr. Hyung Dong Kim was a visiting professor at the Texas Medical Center and Bayler College of Medicine.
