Dr. Sertel received his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine from 1984-1990, followed by a residency in General Surgery at the same institution from 1990-1996. He then completed a fellowship in General Surgery at Akcakoca State Hospital in 1998. Dr. Sertel has held a number of positions throughout his career, including serving as a General Surgery Specialist and Emergency Department Responsible Physician at Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital from 2000-2007. In 2007, he joined the team at Kadıkoy Florence Nightingale Hospital as a General Surgery Specialist, and was later promoted to Deputy Chief Physician. As a general surgeon, Dr. Sertel is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to his patients. He has a wealth of experience in a wide range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, hernia repair, and gallbladder removal. He is known for his compassionate and attentive approach, taking the time to listen to his patients' concerns and work closely with them to develop a treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals.
