Dr. Ilangovan A/L Lakshmanan completed his MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1986, followed by MS in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery from the same institute. During his career, he worked at various hospitals in Malaysia and attended numerous courses to widen his knowledge and understanding further. He also worked as a Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Hospital Melaka from 1996 to 1998.
