    Dr. Ireneusz Babiak is one of the best orthopedic surgeons at Carolina Medical Center and has more than 30 experience in his profession. He specializes in the diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the knee joints, hip joints, shoulder joints, spine, hand, and foot deformities. His medical area is an experience in the surgical treatment of infections of joint endoprostheses, implants, and osteoarthritis. Dr. Ireneusz Babiak qualified for his degree from reputed institutions. He graduated from the Medical University of Wroclaw, and then he obtained his postdoctoral degree at the Medical University of Lodz. Dr. Babiak gained his professional experience while working and training in clinical hospitals in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. He is the national representative of Poland in the EBJIS (European Bone and Joint Infection Society). In addition to his work, Dr. Babiak is the author and co-author of one hundred and thirty lectures and papers presented at national and international congresses. He is the author and co-author of 54 scientific publications in Polish and foreign journals, as well as chapters in 13 books. Moreover, he is also a member of the Polish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, European Bone and Joint Infection Society, and Polish Society of Hospital Infections.
