Professor Jacques Baniel heads the Department of Urology at the Beilinson Hospital of the Rabin Medical Center and also holds the position of Deputy Director of the Davidov Cancer Center.

Professor Jacques Baniel was educated at the Faculty of Medicine of Tel Aviv University (Tel Aviv, Israel), trained and completed his internship in urology at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa), and in urological oncology at Indiana University (Indiana, USA).

Professor Jacques Baniel's areas of specialization include:

-Removal and transurethral resection of tumors of the bladder and kidney
-Removal of the kidney and adrenal gland
-Radical prostatectomy with and without the use of the Da Vinci robot
-Resection of the testicle, benign enlargement of the prostate gland, open and closed access,
-Removal of lymph nodes in testicular and bladder cancer and its further reconstruction in bladder cancer
