About
Dr. Jae Myung Cha received his bachelor in Medicine from the University of Kyung Hee School of Medicine in Korea during 1990-1996. He started his career in medicine as a rotating intern in Asan Medical Center, South Korea and then did his residency at the department of internal medicine in Asan Medical Center in Korea. Dr. Jae Myung Cha also served as a visiting scholar at Virginia Mason Medical Centre in Seattle, USA, during 2003-2004. He also worked skillfully as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine, Kyung Hee University Hospital. Currently, he’s serving as an associate professor in the same place. RESEARCH PAPERS PUBLISHED BY DR JAE MYUNG CHA Dr. Jae Myung Cha has worked as a corresponding author on the development and validation of a risk stratification-based screening model for predicting advanced colorectal neoplasia in Korea. He has also worked on the research about interval cancers after a negative colonoscopy finding in a Korean population, a small step for gastroenterologists but a giant leap for Koreans. Dr. Jae Myung Cha has also worked on the association of prediabetes with a high-risk colorectal adenoma. Moreover, he has worked on the effects of probiotic yoghurt on symptoms and intestinal microbiota in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Jae Myung Cha, with his vast work experience and research work, has gathered a lot of valuable information in the field of gastroenterology and specializes in gastric cancer, Colon cancer and Esophagus Cancer.
