Dr. Ji Kon Ryu is a highly qualified consultant Gastroenterologist of Seoul, South Korea, with over three decades of clinical experience in his field. He is currently associated with Seoul National University Hospital and provides consultancy at the Gastroenterology Department and Pancreatic and Biliary Cancer Center. He is a well-recognized name among Medical Gastroenterologists of Korea. He has expertise in Bile duct cancer, Biliary system disease, Biliary Cancer, Cholangiocarcinoma, Cholecystitis, Cholangitis, Gallbladder Cancer, Gallbladder Polyps, Pancreatic Cyst, Pancreatic Cancer, Jaundice, etc. Dr. Ji Kon Ryu completed his schooling at Gyeonggi High School in 1983. He is a baccalaureate of Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree in 1989, followed by an MS degree in 1993 from the same institute. To further advance his knowledge and specialization in gastroenterology, he later earned a Ph.D. from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 2000. He learned directly from highly recognized experts and developed a detailed understanding of gastrointestinal diseases during his education and clinical practice. Dr. Ji Kon Ryu is an expert in evaluating patients who visit him with different gastrointestinal complaints treating a broad range of conditions. He incorporates his comprehensive knowledge of the entire GI tract to provide top-quality endoscopy and consultation.
