Dr. Jong-il Choi is a renowned cardiologist with more than two decades of clinical practice under his name. His expertise lies in managing conditions that come under the domains of cardiac electrophysiology, such as Arrhythmias, Tachycardia, Bradysphygmia, Syncope, Atrial fibrillation, Hereditary heart diseases and Cardiomyopathy. Dr. Jong-il Choi is also an honorable member of the Korea Heart Rhythm Society and Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Jong-il Choi received his early medical education from the prestigious Medical School, Korea University, Seoul, in 1992-1998. He then pursued a Master's degree in Medical Sciences from the Korea University Graduate School in 2002. Dr. Jong-il Choi was also awarded a Ph. D. in 2008 from the same institute. To further polish his credentials, he went abroad to the Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, NC, USA and acquired a Master of Health Science in Clinical Research in 2018. Dr. Jong-il Choi started his professional career as a full rotating intern in 1999 at the Korea University Medical Center, Seoul. The same institute offered him a Residency program in Internal Medicine from 1999 to 2003. In 2007, he achieved the Fellowship of Cardiology by his alma mater. Dr. Jong-il Choi served as a Clinical Assistant Professor, at the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, in Korea University Medical Center, for the next three years. He has also provided his services as Visiting Professor at the Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC, USA (2013-2015) and was appointed as the Professor of the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, Korea University College of Medicine, Korea University Anam Hospital, in 2018.
