Dr. Juan Jose Mata Molanes is the most preferred immunologist at Quironsalud Torrevieja Hospital and he has rich experience in this field. He is a well-known immunologist in Spain. He has a degree in Biology from the University of Murcia (2000-2006), a health specialist in immunology (BIR system, 2011 call), and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Navarra in 2015 obtaining the highest rating (outstanding cum laude) unanimously by the Court. He developed his specialty at the University Clinic of Navarra between 2011 - 2015 and worked as a teaching collaborator at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra during that period. His areas of expertise in the management of laboratory GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and elaboration of drugs of advanced therapies related to immunotherapy (vaccines with dendritic cells, TIL cells, LAK cells, CIK cells, etc). He is also a specialist in the diagnosis and monitoring of hematological malignancies by flow cytometry (FacsCanto II, Navios). He is a formation in histocompatibility (the study of HLA typing, the study of anti-HLA antibodies, crossmatch analysis), and autoimmunity (diagnostic experience in the analysis of autoantibodies). He joined the oncology platform of Hospital Quironsalud Torrevieja as head of the immunology unit in 2015. He has published scientific articles in national and international indexed journals. He is also an active member of the Spanish society of immunology.
