Dr. Kausik Bhattacharya is a well-trained radiation oncologist at AIG Hospitals. He has rich experience in his profession. Dr. Kausik completed his post-graduation in radiation oncology from Regional Cancer Center, Cuttack, 1999 and trained further in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Safdurjung Hospital in New Delhi. Having more than 20 years of experience in modern techniques like IGRT, SRS, etc., and is a teacher and examiner with the National Board. He is an expert in brain tumors, colorectal, lung, and head and neck tumors. Before his present assignment, he served in Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai for three years and joined the postgraduate faculty in Regional Cancer Center, Cuttack. Subsequently, he served as Senior Consultant in Apollo Cancer Institute Hyderabad till November 2020. He did his training in Neuro-oncology from the Charite University of Medicine, Berlin, Germany, and Lung SABR in Sheffield, UK. Moreover, Dr. Kausik Bhattacharya is a life member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, a life member of the Federation of Head & Neck Oncologists of India, a fellow of the Indian College of Radiation Oncologists, and Australia and New Zealand Royal College of Radiologists.
