Dr. Kua Voon Fong is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist of Thomson Hospital, Kota Damansara (THKD), Malaysia. Her clinical interest lies in performing CyberKnife Radiosurgery and SBRT, IMRT/IGRT Radiation Therapy, and treatment of Breast, Lung, and Gynecological Cancers. She obtained her MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Her post-graduation qualification includes M.Onc training from University Malaya Medical Center (UMMC). To widen her understanding of her field of specialization, she also acquired a Fellowship from Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania, USA. Dr. Kua Voon Fong has served at the largest and famous public Hospital in Malaysia, Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM), as a lecturer and a specialist and successfully treated many patients with solid tumors using Chemotherapy, Target Therapy, Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy, IMRT, and SBRT. During her career, she worked at various reputed healthcare centers in the country. Patients prefer getting her consultation because of her kind nature and honest advice. She listens to her patients' concerns attentively and evaluates their medical history before suggesting and performing any procedure. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia and treats locals and people from other countries. Dr. Kua Voon Fong is also an active member of many national and international associations. She holds the membership of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Malaysian Oncological Society, and the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. She is regularly invited to seminars, workshops, and events where she shares her immense knowledge to create awareness about various cancers, their prevention, and treatment.
