Dr. Madhuri Behari is one of the best consultants in neurology at Fortis Vasant Kunj. She has more than 34 years of experience in her field. She is an expert in Parkinson's disease and movement disorders, and also she is well known for her expertise in treating neurology conditions. Dr. Madhuri Behari completed her MBBS and MD in medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University, and several years later, she obtained her DM in neurology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She developed state of art comprehensive movement disorder specialty with a facility for botulinum toxin therapy and Deep Brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease and dystonia patients. In addition to her work, Dr. Madhuri Behari has several research papers & publications in her assortment. She is on the editorial board of several national and international journals. Moreover, she has also been awarded the Woman Bio-scientist award by the Government of India and has also received an award for Innovation in Science from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Furthermore, she is associated with the International Society of Movement Disorders and Parkinson’s disease as Chairperson of the Education Committee and member of several other committees.
