Dr. Mehran Hiradfar works at Razavi Hospital as a pediatric gastroenterologist. He cares for children from infancy through adolescence. He chooses to focus his medical practice on pediatrics, gaining extensive experience in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Mehran Hiradfar was born in the Iranian city of Abadan. In 1983, he graduated from Daneshgah Meli High School in Tehran. In 1983, he enrolled in the Medical School of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS). He graduated from medical school in 1990, and after completing a four-year residency program at Emam Reza Hospital of MUMS, he received national board certification in general surgery in 1997. From 1997 to 2000, he was a Board Certified Pediatric Surgeon at Tehran University. During this course, he traveled to London and spent 7 months as an observer at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. In the year 2000, he began his career at MUMS as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Surgery. He was an Associate Professor of Pediatric Surgery at the time. He moved to the United States in 2015 and is currently residing in Galveston, Texas.
