In 2009 he was certified as a gastroenterologist with the Jordanian board of Gastro-hepatology. Following this, he joined a training program in Niguarda Ospitale, Milan, Italy, for liver and organ transplantation, worked as a visiting consultant in King Khaled and Prince Sultan Military Hospital, KSA, worked in Al Bashir Hospital, Amman, Jordan, and was the head of the department of gastroenterology in Zarqa General Hospital. He is currently a member of the Canadian Gastroenterology Association (CAG), Jordanian Internists Society, Jordanian Gastroenterologist & Hepatology Association, and Emirates Gastroenterology and Hepatology Society.
