Dr. Murtaza A Chishti is one of the best cardiologists at Artemis Hospitals, and has more than 34 years of experience in this field. He is an expert in Hypertensive Heart Disease, Organic Tricuspid Valve Repair, and also vascular Surgery, coronary bypass surgery Dr. Murtaza A Chishti completed from the University of Kashmir, MBBS, and then he gained his MS at the same University. Thanks to his high professionalism, excellent knowledge he gained his MCh at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. He comes with a rich reserve of overseas work experience, including cardiothoracic fellowships in St. Mary's hospital, Milwaukee, USA, Royal Perth Hospital Perth, Australia, and Prince Henry and Prince Wales Hospitals in Sydney Australia. At home, he held several important and prominent positions like Chief Consultant and Associate Professor in Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology and Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Fortis-Escorts New Delhi, among others. Dr. Murtaza A Chishti has been conferred with several awards and honors. He was awarded by the Society of Heart Failure and Transplant( SHfT) in recognition of his Contributions to Thoracic Organ Transplant in India at Kochi in 2016. He was awarded by Heart Failure 360 at the 3rd Annual Conference in appreciation of his Contribution as faculty in 2017. Further, he has been honored by the Govt of Rajasthan under CM Vasundra Raje with the “Certificate of Excellence” for distinguished work in Organ Transplantation.
