About
Dr. Mustafa Bozbuga of NP Istanbul Brain Hospital is one of the finest and most experienced Neurosurgeons in Turkey. He has nearly over three decades of experience in his field of specialization. He is a specialist in performing Skull Base Surgery, Neurovascular Surgery, Neuro-Oncology (Tumor Surgery) and treating Spinal Cord tumors, Vascular Malformations, Spinal Narrow Canal Disease, Neck Hernias, etc. Dr. Mustafa Bozbuga acquired his graduation degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University. In 1991, he completed his specialization training in Neurosurgery from the Brain and Nerve Surgery Clinic of Istanbul University. In addition to this, he practiced Skull Base Surgery and Micro Neurosurgery at George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC, which further helped him expand his learning. Dr. Mustafa Bozbuga also served as Chair of Neurosurgery, Osaka City University School of Medicine, Japan, in 1994. He then returned to Turkey and pursued Doctoral Education in Anatomy from Istanbul University. During his professional career, he worked at prominent positions. He has worked at the Clinical and Micro Neurosurgery Laboratory of the University of Zurich, Kartal Training and Research Hospital, Department of Neurosurgery, Trakya University, and Hisar Intercontinental Hospital. Dr. Mustafa Bozbuga has also headed the Brain and Nerve Surgery Department of Medical Park Gaziosmanpasa Hospital before joining NP Istanbul Brain Hospital as a Professor. He has done extensive research work in neurosurgery and has successfully published multiple articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mustafa Bozbuga regularly attends seminars, conferences, and workshops where he shares his immense knowledge of neurosurgery with students and fellow physicians.
