Dr. Nataliya Prudnikova is an expert in the fields of IUI, IVF, ICSI, IVM, postponed pregnancy, donation programs, and surrogacy. Surrogacy is a process in which a woman carries a child for another individual or couple who is unable to conceive or carry a child themselves. There are two types of surrogacy: traditional surrogacy and gestational surrogacy. Traditional surrogacy involves using the surrogate's own egg and sperm from either the intended father or a sperm donor. In this case, the surrogate is genetically related to the child. Postponed maternity refers to the decision by a woman or couple to delay having a child until a later time. There are various reasons why someone may choose to postpone maternity, such as career goals, financial stability, personal development, or health concerns. Delaying maternity can be done through various means, including the use of birth control, fertility preservation methods like egg freezing, or simply waiting to start a family until a later time. With advances in reproductive technology, women have more options than ever before when it comes to postponing maternity.
