He graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, and completed his specialization training in Ophthalmology from the same university in 2003. Dr. Peykan Turkcuoglo has served at various hospitals in Turkey. He began his career in 1999 at the Faculty of Medicine, Hacettepe University. Later in 2004, he joined Sivas Military Hospital as a subordinate. After that, he served at Firat University and İnönü University. He also worked in the Vitreoretinal and Medical Retinal Department of the Wilmer Eyes Institute of John Hopkins Hospital, Maryland. Dr. Peykan Turkcuoglu holds the experience of working in Goznuru Eye Hospital and Biruni University as well. Since 2015 he has been associated with Medicana Camlica Hospital and utilizes his immense knowledge for the wellbeing of his patients. He authored over 50 articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has presented multiple research papers at international scientific meetings. He is also an essential member of the editorial board of the World Journal of Ophthalmology. Dr. Peykan Turkcuoglu is a kind person and tries to be empathetic towards the needs of his patients.
