Dr. Praveen Gupta is one of the finest neurologists in India, with over 20 years of experience in his field. He is working with Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, as the Director of the Neurology department. Dr. Praveen Gupta completed his MBBS from the University of Nagpur in 1998. Then, in 2002, he earned his MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree in General Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, and didn’t stop learning and advancing in his field. Later he gained a D.M (Doctorate of Medicine) degree in neurology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Dr. Praveen Gupta is an expert health care professional and successfully established two neurology departments in corporate hospitals of Paras and Artemis, India. He holds the record of seeing the most significant number of patients in a day (100 patients per day). In addition to this, he also started the first stroke center in Gurgaon, India, and is a pioneer of using solitaire to treat medical thrombolysis. He also introduced the DBS procedure (Deep Brain Stimulation) in Gurgaon. During his career, Dr. Praveen Gupta held prestigious positions at reputed hospitals. He is one of the frequently invited speakers at national and international conferences. Dr. Praveen Gupta has won various awards in India for his services and medical knowledge. He is a gold medallist in neurology from AIIMS, New Delhi. He was also awarded the Gem of India Award, B.R Ambedkar Seva Ratna Award, Outstanding Natural Citizen Award, and Sarvashreshta Chikitsak Award. Moreover, he was chosen as the Best neurologist in NCR by Times Research Group.
