Dr. Ram Chidambaram graduated from Thanjavur Medical College, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, and gained his MBBS, then he had Diploma in Orthopaedics at the Trivandrum Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, in 1996. Also, to improve his medical knowledge, he obtained his DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Orthopaedics at the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Moreover, he has FRCS (Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons) in General Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow, UK, and FRCS (Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons) in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Intercollegiate Specialty Board, UK. Dr. Ram Chidambaram has developed an exclusive specialist practice in the shoulder, elbow, hand, and sports injuries.
