Dr. Salah Al Arnawoot is a very vigilant and attentive general surgeon at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital has rich experience in his profession. Dr. Salah is well versed in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures, endocrine operations (conventional and video-assisted), visceral surgery (gastrointestinal and colorectal operations), laparoscopic hernia repair, bile duct reconstruction operations, anorectal procedures, salivary gland surgery, tumor, and emergency procedures, among other surgeries. Throughout his career, he has explored several areas and successfully carried out operations or treatments on them accordingly. Dr. Salah Al Arnawoot gained his MB.ChB degree from the prestigious institution, and he has a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (UK). After several years of work experience, Dr. Salah also had a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery through the University of Strasbourg, France, where he improved his medical skills. Before joining Mediclinic Welcare Hospital, Dr. Salah practiced as a consultant surgeon at Medicare Centre in Dubai. Before this, he served as Dubai Hospital's senior specialist surgeon and deputy head of surgery for five years and subsequently as a specialist general surgeon at Rashid Hospital, Dubai. In addition to his work, he has served as a Senior Lecturer at Dubai Medical College and has contributed to several international medical publications. He was the previous vice president of the GCC Hernia Society until 2018 and is a lifelong member of the Asia Pacific Hernia Society. He is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at Dubai Medical College and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at MBRU.
