Associate Professor Dr. Selman Celebi is a Gastroenterologist at the Memorial Antalya Hospital. He is well-known for performing ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Botox Treatment, Liver Disease Treatments, and Endoscopic Gastric Balloon Treatment. He has about 30 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Selman Celebi has numerous scientific publications in both national & international journals and has also contributed his medical knowledge to book sections. He graduated with an MD from Thrace University in Edirne, Turkey, in 1991. Later on, in 1996, he began his four-year Internal Medicine Specialty Training at the Firat University in Elazig, Turkey. Shortly after completing his Internal Medicine Specialty Training, he began Gastroenterology Specialty Training at the same institute in the same year. Dr. Selman Celebi began his professional medical career as a General practitioner at the Nusaybin Public Hospital in Mardin, Turkey, in 1991. Two years later, he joined the Bucak State Hospital as a General Practitioner and worked there from 1994 to 1995. In 1996, he joined Firat University as an Internal Medicine Specialist and continued working there until 2000. During his Gastroenterology Specialty Training at the Firat University, he worked as a Gastroenterologist there from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Selman Celebi joined Selcuk University as a Lecturer in 2005 and worked there until 2007. He joined the Medical Park Hospital as an Internal Medicine Specialist and Gastroenterologist in 2008 and worked there for 11 years. When he left the Medical Park Hospital in 2019, he joined the Memorial Antalya Hospital for the position of Gastroenterologist and is currently working there.
