    Dr. Shirley Bang is a certified Urologist Specialist based in Singapore. She is currently associated with Thomson Medical Center. She is an expert in diagnosing and providing the treatment of Urinary Stone Disease (USD), Overactive Bladder Syndrome (OAB), Neurogenic Bladder, and Urinary Incontinence. Dr. Shirley Bang obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degrees from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. Dr. Shirley Bang is one of the several female Urologists in her country and is a highly skilled and sought-after medical expert. Before her association with Thomson Medical Center, Singapore, she worked as a full-time consultant in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where she gained immense knowledge and expertise about various urological disorders, including complicated reconstructive surgery of the urinary tract. She has successfully performed laser treatments for kidney stones and prostate conditions on hundreds of her patients. Dr. Shirley Bang also worked as a core faculty member of the National Healthcare Group Urology Residency Program. As a clinical tutor, she served at NTU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and NUS’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and shared her diverse knowledge with the learners. Dr. Shirley Bang is also known for introducing the PTNS technique (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation) to treat overactive bladder issues.
