Dr. Soo-wook Chae is one of the board-certified plastic surgeons at the CDU Plastic Surgery Clinic. Dr. Soo-wook Chae holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Medicine, Seoul National University, South Korea, and a master’s degree in medicine from Ulsan University, South Korea. He specializes in both eye and breast surgery. His research paper titled "Cosmetic Lateral Canthoplasty: Lateral Canthoplasty to Lengthen the Lateral Canthal Angle and Correct the Outer Tail of the Eye" was selected by the renowned medical journal, Archives of Plastic Surgery (APS). Dr. Soo-wook Chae is a member of the following plastic surgery societies, which require members to be accomplished plastic surgeons committed to high standards and quality care: • the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (KSPRS) • Korea Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery • the International Union of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (IPRAS) • a member of the Korean Academic Association of Oculoplastic Surgery (KAOPS) for academic research He is also an academician of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons’ Doctors’ Association. Moreover, Dr. Soo-wook Chae was the former Director of the Plastic Surgery Department at Cheju Halla Hospital and the Beauty and Youth Plastic Surgery Clinic, as well as a former plastic surgeon at Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.
