Dr. Torsten Karsch is a Chief Doctor in Pediatrics Department at Klinikum Dahme-Spreewald - Spreewald Clinic Lubben. He is a specialist in Paediatrics and Youth Medicine. He has an additional designation in Pediatric Pneumology and Allergology. Dr. Torsten Karsch studied human medicine at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald from 1981 to 1987. He had his Diploma and State Examination approval in 1987. After that, he had Specialist training at the former district hospital in Frankfurt/Oder. He then took a specialist accreditation in 1992. During 1995, he took up Doctorate at the Humboldt University in Berlin. As time goes by, he had his additional qualification in allergology in 1998. Since 1998, he was Chief Physician in the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Spreewald Clinic Lubben. He is a member of the examination committee for paediatrics and adolescent medicine of the Brandenburg State Medical Association since 2008. He was a proud member of 2 societies which are the German Society for Child and Adolescent Medicine and the German Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
