Dr. Valeri Gelev is a well-known cardiology expert. He is the director of the Cardiology Department at Tokuda Hospital Sofia in Bulgaria since 2013. Before 2013, he was head of the Invasive Cardiology Ward. Dr. Valeri Gelev completed his Doctorate from Medical University Sofia in 1990. He did a specialization in cardiology and internal medicine and has more than 20 years of professional experience. He was the head of the International Cardiology Department in University Emergency Hospital “Pirogov” in Sofia where he gathered most of his experience. Moreover, Dr. Valeri Gelev has been a part of many scientific associations. He is currently a member of: • Bulgarian Cardiological Association • The Bulgarian Association of Interventional Cardiology • Associated member of the European Club for Chronic Occlusions Given the copious nature of cardiovascular disease and stroke, there is an increasing demand for cardiology specialists. Dr. Valeri Gelev is playing an outstanding role currently. He has gained many years of knowledge-based confidence and has a vested interest in the positive outcomes of his patients.
