Cosmetic Surgery is not a new trend, but it is a fact that the number of people getting a cosmetic treatment done has risen constantly over the last five years. According to experts, most people seek cosmetic procedures to bring out the best version of themselves. Techniques used during Cosmetic Surgery are becoming safer and affordable, and more people are now getting breast augmentation, nose reshaping, and a tummy tuck done. Whether a cosmetic procedure is surgical or non-surgical, the surgeon performing it must be experienced and expert. Dr. Vitawat Angkatavanich is one such Cosmetic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in his field. Dr. Vitawat Angkatavanich completed his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Thailand’s Chiang Mai Medical School in 1994, followed by a degree in General Surgery in 1998. He then started working as a Plastic Surgeon for Cleft Lip and Palate in Thai Red Cross, Uthai Thani. Later from 1999 to 2001, he worked in the Plastic Surgery Department of Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. He practiced as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Chiang Mai Ram Hospital until 2002, alongside serving as a Lecturer in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Chiangmai University. Since 2003 he has been working at Yanhee International Hospital and gained wide respect and recognition in performing Lipofilling, Adam’s Apple Shaving, Brachioplasty, Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), etc. Dr. Vitawat Angkatavanich has been part of numerous international training and did multiple post-graduate courses acquiring up-to-date knowledge of cosmetic procedures. He got special training in Advanced Rhinoplasty from Chicago, Illinois, USA, and training in Microsurgery and Flap Dissection Course from Singapore. He also completed a course on Endoscopic Maxillofacial Surgery and Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Surgery in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to being a part of various Thai Associations, Dr. Vitawat Angkatavanich is a member of the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine (WOSAAM) and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA).
