Allergy testing can come in the form of either a blood test or skin prick test. You may opt to test for a single allergen or a comprehensive panel of allergens. Our clinic currently provides allergy testing in the form of an Immunoglobulin E (IgE) blood test. IgE food allergies tend to cause an immedite reaction within a few minutes of exposure and may cause symptoms such as hives, eye swelling and lip swelling.

IgG Food Allergy / Intolerance Testing Singapore

We provide both Immunoglobulin E (IgE) and Immunoglobulin G (IgG) blood tests. Individuals may have a preference for IgG blood tests as a means of food allergy or food intolerance testings. IgG food allergies tend to cause symptoms several hours to days after exposure to the trigger, and may cause symptoms such as chronic constipation, diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome and migraines.

A skin prick test (SPT), also known as a skin allergy test, involves placing small amounts of substances (allergens) on your skin, such as your forearm, upper arm or back.
