    About

Greetings! “Hello, my name is Kim Dae-Sik, and I run an oriental medicine clinic. You are all working hard, right? There are times when it is hard if you work too hard. When you cannot sleep, taste food, suddenly feel dizzy and depressed for no reason, and your joints here and there are broken but there are no problems even if you get tested at a Western hospital, please visit our oriental medical clinic. It may not be better than your family, but we will do our best to help you live a happy and comfortable life at the level of your family.” WHAT IS ORIENTAL MEDICINE? Oriental medicine is also known as TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) or simply Chinese medicine. It is an ancient medicinal and treatment system based on a thorough understanding of nature's laws and patterns. This is then applied to the body of a patient to treat specific conditions as well as underlying symptoms. Oriental medicine involves a variety of practices that date back to ancient philosophy. Oriental medicine differs from Western medicine only in terms of global connectivity and the human body. This understanding is primarily based on the traditional belief that humans are microcosms of the vast universe. It is also linked to nature and subject to its forces. In general, the human body is regarded as an organic system in which various tissues, organs, and parts serve distinct functions. Nonetheless, they are all interconnected. As a result, a person's health and disease are related to the overall functions. HOW IT WORKS? Oriental medicine works based on the significant energy of the body, known as qi or chi. This energy, according to ancient practitioners, flows through the body's meridians (channels). This aids in the maintenance and stabilization of a person's spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health balance. The principal aim of oriental medicine is to help maintain and regain the body's balance. It also helps balance harmony between the naturally opposing forces known as yin and yang. As a result, it prevents these forces from blocking and altering the qi energy flow and triggering certain illnesses. The opposing forces of Yin and Yang represent qi qualities. Yang is associated with the day, light, warmth, positivity, and masculinity, whereas Yin is associated with the night, darkness, coldness, femininity, and negativity. The two forces work under the assumption that all life factors have a small percentage of opposing forces. As a result, it is critical that they always maintain their equilibrium. Yin and Yang forces are visible when consuming a specific drug to treat a condition or relieve pain. These medications are only effective if you take them exactly as your doctor has prescribed. An overdose, and in some cases, a low dose, may, however, result in additional health problems. SERVICES • Acupuncture Acupuncture is an oriental method of treatment that involves inserting tiny needles into the upper skin layer. To trigger or manipulate specific acupuncture points, it can be the subcutaneous tissues or muscles. According to ancient oriental medicine experts, the human body consists of many acupuncture points linked by 12 main channels (meridians). These meridians play a vital role in conducting the qi energy between the body surface and the internal organs. Overall, acupuncture helps maintain the balance between yin and yang. As a result, it allows the standard flow of qi energy throughout a person’s body. It also helps restore the average health of both the body and mind. • Herbal Medicine There are several types of herbs that most practitioners use to treat and manage a range of health conditions. These herbs are usually extracted from the different roots, seeds, stems, and leaves of various plants. Some of these plants include ginger, cinnamon bark, ginseng, licorice, and many more. For better results and taste, these herbs are usually combined to create a formula. It is then dispensed or administered in the form of traditional tea, granules, powder, liquid extract, or capsules.
